How the door works

There are no tickets at DECAY. Most events ask for a suggested donation at the door, and nobody is turned away for lack of funds. If you can't pay, come anyway. You don't need to explain or ask anyone.

Where the money goes

Give what you can, or nothing. Everyone gets in either way.
Most of it pays the people on stage. Door money goes to the performers and whoever organised the night.
Some of it keeps the space open. Rent, power, and the gear everyone uses.

Pay-what-you-can means cost is never the reason someone stays home, and the artists still get paid. People who can give more cover people who can't. That's how the room stays open to everyone.
