SUMMARY:AUTUMN OF LUDD: The IRL Spaces Tour
LOCATION:402 Washington St NE\, Olympia WA
DESCRIPTION:“The Summer of Ludd: 8 days\, 150 events\, Free lunch for 250
  people a day\, no permits\, in a historic heatwave\, all organized withou
t social media! The festival had a plurality of events from radical puppet
theater\, to teach-ins on Data Center resistance\, to Jamborees and poetr
y workshops. \nCome learn from Luddite organizers about how they put it on
\, and how the Luddite critique can help us make sense of the AI bubble\,
alienation\, and the surveillance state. \nThe tour includes: organizing t
actics for reclaiming public space\, structures for large-scale projects\,
digital security + organizing without relying on platforms\, dealing with
  journalists\, tactical playfulness\, and base-building for a popular move
ment against Big Tech. \nThey will also be grounding us in the historical
Luddites\, textile workers who were against “machines harmful to commona
lity” at the turn of the industrial revolution. \nFREE PUBLIC PARTICIPAT
ORY! As we like to say in NYC The Event is the Medium!”\nAdditional info
